Rebecca's doing well and cooing lots! It's so fun to have her interact with us!!! She and her Daddy both loved last Thursday - Take Your Sons and Daughters to Work day. Jack really enjoyed showing her off to all of his classes as I brought her up throughout the day. It was fun for me as I would walk through the halls and hear "that's Rebecca Joy" and "there's Mr. D's baby." He is very proud of his little girl!!

8 weeks old already?!?!
Rebecca Joy is eight weeks old today!! It’s hard to believe that the time has gone by so quickly. She’s focusing her eyes much more now and is smiling real smiles. She’s starting to do some cooing, although it still surprises her when it happens and so she stops. I weighed her with me on Monday and she registered at 11 pounds!!! I know this isn’t the most accurate way to weigh her and we’ll know for sure when we go in at 11 weeks for her 2 month check up.

Rebecca's first vacation - Myrtle Beach
Rebecca and I spent last week in Myrtle Beach, SC, with my family. We missed Daddy very much and decided that that was way too long to be apart! My sister Kim took some fun pictures of Rebecca and I together. Additionally, there are pictures of Rebecca with her Aunts Amy and Kim and cousins Leila, Amy Jo, Taylor, and AshLynne, along with Nana and Papa. Also included are some fun vacation pictures that may not necessarily include Rebecca; Taylor turned 10 while we were there.

Finally adding more pictures!
Yes, I know, I’ve done a terrible job at keeping up with this! Hopefully I can get up to speed today and then maintain it on a weekly basis! Following are pictures from the time we got home from the hospital until she was 5 weeks old.
In addition to lots of photos of Rebecca by herself, there are also some with her Daddy, her Nana (my mom who was with us until Rebecca was 2.5 weeks old), and her Grampa & Gramma Dugwyler. The cradle that she is in was a doll cradle made by my Grampa Fish. The yellow sweater and cap set was made by Jack’s Gramma Schmunk for him to wear home from the hospital (along with each of his siblings). I, however, did not remember this and didn’t take it to the hospital. So Rebecca is sporting it at 3.5 weeks.
The pictures are in chronological order starting with the youngest at the top.
