Camping

We spent Memorial Day weekend camping (in what was generally chilly and very windy weather). Rebecca Joy proves again to be a happy camper! She did great sleeping in the camper and spent a good bit of time either in her stroller, the front pack, or in various arms.

Hanging out with Auntie Robin and Uncle Dennis.

She LOVES the front pack.
Park View - an amazing view from our camp site.Rebecca wore a hat for 3 days, coming home looking like a different baby! But then we bathed her and the spike returned!

Being loved by Gramma Dugwyler

Feeling loved and secure in Daddy's arms

Rebecca Joy attends her first ever birthday party for her friend Ellen who turned five. It was a princess party.

Rebecca dresses as the princess that she is!

We have a Happy Camper!

Rebecca survived her first camping trip!! Yeah!! We weren't certain whether we should feel guilty or proud, though. Guilty that we could see our 11 week old baby's breath in the morning or proud that she was one of the happiest campers there! She was not phased at all by the snow that we woke up to!!

She's in that stroller, I promise! Below she's all snuggled into her sleeping bag for the night!

We survived the night!
Phew - what an exhausting camping trip that was!

Hanging out with my Daddy.

At 10.5 weeks, she had her 2 month check up today. She weighed in at 11.12!! She is right on track with her development. She also got her shots, which was harder on Mommy than on Rebecca.

She's sleeping very well these days, or nights rather! She'll go any where from 6 to 8.5 hours! And I feel like a new woman!!

She had a runny nose over the weekend but did well with it. Hopefully she's not taking on her Mommy's tendancy for allergies!!

If the weather cooperates this coming weekend, Rebecca and I will join Daddy as he leads the Sophomore River Trip (he's not actually going on the river this time, just leading the camp out part of it). We're excited for her first camping experience!!

My pacifier has fallen out and I can't live without it!!!

Rebecca went on her first picnic on Sunday! She already loves the outdoors!! Yippee!! She better, living in our family!

What an exhausting day!
