Our big girl is now clapping her hands, giving kisses (open mouth, of course!), and just started waving bye-bye!! She loves to play peek-a-boo, jump in the Johnny Jumper, scoot around in the walker, go for walks, and eat real food - beef, chicken, pork, green beans, broccoli, carrots, corn, spinach, cucumbers, bananas, pears, peaches, apple sauce, beets, rice, kidney and black beans - so far we haven't found anything that she won't eat!!

Two teeth!!!

Rebecca Joy has two teeth now! She popped the second one through last week at 7 1/2 months old. She seems to really enjoy putting her hands in her mouth now and moving her tongue over those teeth.
She does the funniest thing in bed sometimes. Either before she has fallen asleep or when she first wakes up, rather than crying, she does what we've termed the 'silent protest' - she's not crying, but is letting us know that she's awake and would rather not be there! She takes both of her legs up and then kicks her mattress with a loud thump! That's usually how I know that she's awake before I ever even hear her cry!





We spent last weekend at a cabin with our friends Robin and Dennis. We had lots of fun together and enjoyed the beautiful fall leaves!
