Happy Birthday, Rebecca Joy!!

What a fun celebration! It's hard to believe that she is a year old!!

Rebecca shares a birthday with her Aunt Elise, so it was a whole weekend of celebrating! She loved the carrot cake and just barely sweetened whipped cream. At first she went for it with just a finger, then a couple of fingers, then all of them, and then she picked up the spoon and started feeding herself with a spoon!!

It was truly just a trim as we only needed to get rid of her whispies that kept on hanging in her face!! She did so well with sitting still - of course, it did take less than 5 minutes!!

She's a little fishie!!!

Rebecca Joy started swimming lessons today!!! For 5 weeks we will participate in a parent/tot class at the local Y. We had so much fun!! She already loves the water anyway, but we do want her to know how to defend herself in the water.

I'm NOT listening!!!

Lately Rebecca has started to cover her ears. I'm hoping that this is not a sign of future conversations between us!!!!

She had her third tooth come through this weekend - all three on the bottom so far!!! I can see one just under the surface up top and hopefully it will arrive soon (although she is very minimally bothered by them).

We had just come in from a walk so she still had on her hat - I think this hat is so stinkin' cute!!!

SUPERSTAR!!!

She loves her baths!! And I love her little bubble beard above!! She likes her new tub toys and even makes a 'brrrrrrrm' noise when she pushes her boat around!!

This rocking moose was a gift from the aunties!! She can't do it by herself yet, but she loves it when we put her on it!
